In late January, she went to court and presented more than 70 pages of harassing and derogatory e-mails received from the hunter. Even after describing his case to the judge offered no help, not prohibition. Two weeks later, he shot her, then turned the gun on himself.

record any record of a threat.
Keep a list of phone numbers and locations of critical safe places.
Consider a home security check. (The local branch of the police, victim support agencies and security companies can offer this service.)
Do not give your home address and phone number. Provide information, contact work for you, whenever possible.
Keep a detailed log stalkers behavior, including photographs of destroyed property, photographs of injuries to the stalker, annoying message recordings, license plate numbers, etc. Keep a pen and paper readily available, even in the car, for that purpose.
If possible, install outdoor lighting, lockable windows, outdoor motion sensor lights, and peepholes in the door. -Trimming shrubs is also recommended.
Vary your routes.
Park in safe, well lit areas. Always have someone escort you to and from your car.
Tell your managers, colleagues, friends and security in your business and residence of the stalker. If possible, provide them with a description and photograph. Ask them to notify you in advance about the presence of the stalker and call the police if necessary.
Do not change your phone number. stalker can view this as a new challenge to overcome in order to be with you, feeding their false beliefs. Instead, buy a machine to answer and ask the same sex friend to record a message (so as not to cause a hunter who mistakenly perceived competition).
Take a self-defense training or the purchase and learn to use self defense products such as pepper spray or mace.
File police reports of any illegal conduct committed by the stalker.
